Instructions

  1. Prepare the base:
    • Crush the biscuits finely using a food processor or by placing them in a plastic bag and rolling with a pin. Set aside.
  2. Melt the chocolate:
    • Melt the white chocolate in a bain-marie or microwave in short intervals, stirring in between to avoid burning.
  3. Mix the ingredients:
    • In a bowl, combine the crushed biscuits, melted white chocolate, cream cheese, lemon zest, and lemon juice. Mix until a firm, smooth dough forms.
  4. Shape the truffles:
    • Take small portions of the mixture and roll them into balls (about the size of a walnut).
  5. Coat the truffles:
    • Roll each ball in powdered sugar or shredded coconut, ensuring an even coating.
  6. Chill and serve:
    • Place the tartufini on a tray lined with parchment paper and refrigerate for at least 1-2 hours before serving.
